At a time when the Biblical model of marriage is under attack by secular society, and confusion about marriage seems to abound, it seems particularly important that someone raise a standard of celebration of this marvelous institution called marriage.
Estell and Dana Coe have recorded and shared the experiences and lessons learned across 40 years of an eminently successful marriage. Their message is that success is not intended to be the exception, but rather, with God’s blessing, such a model is achievable and can be enjoyed by all married couples who will submit to God’s instructions. They do not pretend that this is easy, or without struggle at times, but they do say that it is God’s intention, that He is interested in the project, and that He is always available to help toward success. They stand firmly on the conviction that God’s way is the best way, indeed the only way, to have fullest joy in marriage.
The book is organized in 30 bite-sized sections of wisdom and experience. Couples, married or preparing to marry, would do well to prayerfully consider together the counsel in this book.
